Back by popular demand for a third year, Apia are proud to present the 2015 Apia Good Times Tour - back, bigger and better than ever! This year’s line-up features legendary Aussie performers Brian Cadd, Joe Camilleri, Kate Ceberano and Glenn Shorrock. These celebrated entertainers will come together to perform their best hits for a show that will have audiences across the country rocking out to the good times! Tickets on sale 10am Wednesday 25th February through various outlets.
Kicking off April 28th, the 2015 Apia Good Times Tour will head to Warragul, Adelaide, Perth, Bunbury, Newcastle, Shoalhaven, Canberra, Toowoomba, Brisbane, Tweed Heads, Sydney, Darwin, Ballarat, Geelong, Melbourne, Albury, Hobart, finishing up the good times in Launceston.
Don’t miss your chance to see this never-before-seen line-up of Aussie music royalty in action! With songs such as Hit & Run, A Little Ray Of Sunshine, Help Is On Its Way and Pash – fans will be in for a treat with a solo set of hits from each performer, followed by an extraordinary finale with all four sharing the stage.
Singer, songwriter, producer – Brian Cadd has done it all. Cadd kicked off his career with two of the most celebrated bands of their day The Groop and Axiom, with hits Woman You’re Breaking Me and A Little Ray Of Sunshine. He followed this with a string of massive hits as a solo artist with songs like Ginger Man, Let Go, Alvin Purple and the soundtrack to the classic Morning of the Earth surf movie. Cadd then moved into a ‘behind-the-scenes’ role in the music industry, going on to produce and work alongside music heavyweights from around the globe. Cadd is a renowned songwriter and has written for the likes of Joe Cocker, Ringo Starr, John Farnham, Little River Band, Bonnie Tyler, Glen Campbell and The Pointer Sisters.
Due to popular demand, Apia is thrilled to welcome back Joe Camilleri to the Good Times Tour bill for a third time! Camilleri (aka Jo Jo Zep or Joey Vincent) celebrated 50 years in Australian music last year, and was inducted into the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) Hall of Fame in 2007. Throughout his impressive career, Camilleri has achieved countless Top 20 hits both as a solo artist and as part of iconic Aussie bands Jo Jo Zep & The Falcons and The Black Sorrows – Hit & Run, Taxi Mary and Chained To The Wheel to name a few. Camilleri has also produced records for Paul Kelly & the Dots, Renée Geyer and Ross Wilson among others. Camilleri achieved great success with his 45th album released in 2014 ‘Certified Blue’.
One of Australia’s most loved national treasures is the one and only Kate Ceberano. With three ARIA Awards, a Logie, two People’s Choice Awards and seven nominations for the ARIA Best Female Artist Award, Ceberano’s talents and triumphs are that of Australian entertainment royalty. Cementing this was Ceberano being the first Australian woman inducted into the Australian Songwriters Association Hall of Fame last year, joining the likes of Don Walker, The Easybeats, LRB and The Angels. Ceberano has released 23 albums over 30 years, with beloved hits such as Pash, Bedroom Eyes and Love Is Alive.
One name synonymous with Australian show business is Glenn Shorrock. With a career spanning over 40 years, Shorrock first came to Australia’s attention as lead singer of The Twilights with hits Needle In a Haystack and What’s Wrong with the Way I Live. Glenn later formed Axiom who had hits Arkansas Grass and A Little Ray Of Sunshine. Shorrock went on to front Little River Band who cracked the US market and achieved eight Top Ten Hits in America, and worldwide. Selling over 25 million albums with the band, Shorrock also penned international hits Help Is On Its Way, Emma and Home On Monday. Shorrock has been twice inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame, first in 1991 in his own right, and then in 2004 with Little River Band – a testament to his enduring talent.
