New South Wales CTP Green Slip

Compulsory Third Party (CTP) Insurance, also known as "Green Slip", is required in New South Wales so that you can register your vehicle.

Your TfNSW registration notice will indicate if you need an inspection or eSafety check. Visit the Service NSW website to find your nearest eSafety check station.

Information for pensioners

If you are eligible for the TfNSW 'auto registration renewal' service offered to some pensioners, you need to pay your Green Slip before the registration renewal date.

After you pay your CTP,  we recommend you check with TfNSW directly, to confirm if your registration has been renewed.
