No, Apia does not offer cover notes (a temporary insurance that provides cover between signing up for a new policy and making the initial premium payment). When you commence cover with an Apia Car Insurance policy, you can pay through a number of convenient options, including online, via BPAY, in person, and by mail. Apia also offers a 21-day cooling off period on our Comprehensive Car Insurance.

This means that when you sign up for a new Comprehensive Car Insurance policy, you’ll have 21 days to cancel your policy, if you choose to, and get a full refund (as long as you haven’t made any claims in that time).
