Apia is proud to be the major sponsor of the Apia International Sydney at Sydney Olympic Park Tennis Centre, 10 – 16 January, 2016. Apia has been associated with this hallmark Australian sporting event, since 2009. Attracting some of the world's top ranking tennis players, the 2016 tournament will star Bernard Tomic, Sam Stosur and Petra Kvitova alongside legends of the game including John McEnroe and Mark Philippoussis. The event is a favourite of both fans and players, setting the scene for the first Grand Slam event of the tour – The Australian Open.

The VIP Apia marquee is a dedicated place for Apia's customers to relax and enjoy complimentary refreshments in air conditioned comfort at the tournament. Located in front of Show Court 1, the marquee features a dedicated viewing area to watch the tennis stars practice up-close. Customers visiting the Marquee will also receive a free goodie bag to remember their experience.

The Apia Wheelchair International Sydney Tournament

As part of the Apia International Sydney, the Apia Wheelchair International Sydney (AWIS) will take place at Sydney Olympic Park Tennis Centre, 12-16 January 2016. A Super Series Tournament in the UNIQLO International Wheelchair Tennis Tour, the AWIS is the only tournament of its kind in Australia, and the only opportunity for local athletes to seek international standard competition in Sydney each year.

Starring some of the world's top ten men and women players in primarily a twilight tournament, an Apia International Sydney 2016 Ground Pass will provide access to every match and can be purchased through Ticketek.
