ACT MAI Insurance

Motor Accident Injuries Insurance (MAI Insurance), previously known as Compulsory Third Party Insurance (CTP) Insurance, provides cover to people injured in a motor vehicle accident. You may be entitled to receive treatment, care and lost income benefits for up to five years – regardless of who is at fault.

ACT Motor Accident Injuries Insurance

Anyone registering a motor vehicle in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) must have Motor Accident Injuries Insurance (MAI Insurance) Insurance. In the ACT, MAI Insurance is included in your total registration fee paid to Access Canberra when you register your vehicle. You can choose your MAI insurer when renewing your ACT registration.
