ACT CTP Insurance

Anyone registering a motor vehicle in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) must have Compulsory Third Party Insurance (CTPI). This is purchased with your registration. ACT motorists can choose their CTP insurer when renewing a registration.

What is covered?
  • Covers you for your legal liability for personal injuries caused in a motor vehicle accident if you are the at fault driver.
  • Apia also provides Driver Cover Plus with your CTP insurance. Driver Cover Plus provides cover for specific serious injury benefits for eligible drivers.
