Apia’s mobile claims and assessment office is now operational in North Richmond and ready to assist bushfire affected customers.
Located at the North Richmond Community Centre, the Customer Response Team (CRT) is a mobile office which allows Apia, AAMI, GIO, Suncorp Insurance, Vero and Shannons customers to lodge claims.
David Skapinker said Apia had invested in the latest mobile technology to ensure customers get the best possible claims service.
“Having CRT offices and claims staff on the ground in affected areas allows customers to commence the claim process even if they are still without power or telecommunications,” Mr Skapinker said.
“We understand that these are very challenging times for many people. We are dedicated to moving mobile offices through affected areas so we can help locals start rebuilding their lives,” he said.
If customers cannot get to a CRT they can also make a claim by calling 13 50 50 or online at www.apia.com.au.
Commercial insurance claims for Vero, GIO, AAMI and AMP business customers can also be made through the Customer Response Teams.
