The benefits of this new policy don’t stop at just accidental loss and damage protection. Continuing the ‘extra’ theme, when compared to Apia’s everyday home insurance, the policy provides increased cover against loss or damage to home office equipment, trees, plants and shrubs. What’s more, you can claim up to a further $1000 if contents are stolen from outside your home.
Apia’s customer service advisers can discuss with you in more detail the features and benefits this extra cover offers. And it doesn’t have to cost you more. While the extra cover does mean a higher premium, you can offset that cost by choosing a higher excess, which can reduce your premium by up to 40 per cent*.
